October has always felt like the perfect month for Tarot.
The days shorten. The light changes. Everything becomes a little more liminal, a little more theatrical, and a little easier to imagine as a doorway.
So this year, instead of simply doing a collection of Halloween-themed prompts, I’m turning the whole month into the Countdown to Halloween Tarot Challenge.
Every day throughout October, I’ll be posting a new Tarot prompt on Patreon.
The idea is simple: one prompt, one pull, one small piece of the path toward Halloween.
These prompts are meant to help us work with Tarot as an interpretive practice: shadow, memory, curiosity, the uncanny, and all the odd little things that tend to surface at this time of year.
I’ll be working with the Halloween Tarot because ‘tis the season, but there is no required deck. Bring the one you actually enjoy reading with.
You can participate every day, dip in when a prompt catches your attention, or save the whole series and work through it at your own pace.
By the time we reach October 31, we’ll have built a full month of readings together.
31 days. 31 Tarot prompts. One long countdown to Halloween.
The daily prompts will be shared on Patreon:
